Since the save editor thread got massively out of hand and was really off topic, I thought I'd make a centralized one still based around questions, comments and discoveries either whilst using the tool, or while playing in general. The purpose being that many people were just refreshing the thread and a lot of the same users were using it as a "one stop shop" of DS2 info. Figured (hoping) this is more along the right lines and also in the right section -.-. Anyway. Post away.
Nearly 80% of the posts were about the editor, or rather others stupidity when it can to it. But yeah, needed to have a thread for just chatting and such anyways.
On top of that, the one who closed it just talked himself in circles and explained nothing when I messaged him. There is just no reaching some people I suppose. Rocky was right though, some posts were wayyyyyyy out there. Anyway. Finishing undead crypt now. Whereabout are you? Found a new interesting armor set and corresponding shields.

I was creeping on that one yesterday Great collection. Holy loading times on bad internet I've been wondering if I should write a guide about weapons and armor locations. Theres a 48 minute video on Youtube that really does no justice on how many sets there actually are
I started over. For some reason whenever I tried to place a sign it would fail. -__- I did figure out something though. When you dual wield two weapons of the same weapon class, and if you actually have the stats to hold them, hold Y. You'll go into a power stance, and your LB & LT are now dual attacks with both weapons at the same time.
I'm kind of a no lifer when it comes to games with variety in items. Just spent 3 hours getting all the pieces to Syan's Set Now Just spent 45 minutes to get the full Imperious (best looking IMO) from the twin guards in the Undead Crypt. They also have two shield that interlock which they drop. I have the next few days off. I might try and put something together.
Don't think I'll be invaded for awhile now!! Syan's Set Imperious Set VELSTADT'S Armor!!! Best looking by far. Also, mirror knight set is almost as good as havels. Thats pretty nuts.
how can i edit my souls and not use the editor like i am a lvl 85 and i just want souls to lvl up i tried the editor but it replaced all my weapons any ideas
If you dont want to use the editor at all, bit you still want to farm souls, id recommend the very end of the undead crypt. There's like 9 royal guards and six or so of those phantoms. They can all be easily ranged without even becoming aggressive. Then there's a bonfire really conveniently placed to respawn them. Also add on the ring that makes them yield more souls as a drop and you're golden.
