Competitions??

I agree with this and have been thinking of different things myself. Rather than graphics though, i was gonna for save of the month or something like that.

 

yeeah awesome idea

but not just save of the month

but like topic/graphics/helper of the month

 

i'll be more than happy to offer a few prizes from my shop

 

I think comps would be a good idea also, I suppose everyone could pool there ideas here and see what happens.

 

I think even if they are only on specific dates like holidays such as new year, christmas and maybe birthdays?!

I think we should do something like a monthly 'Reader's Wives' or something along those lines.

Ive been thinking and no matter what ideas members come up with, Everyone is great at something in there own way, so lets not choose a randomn subject, play something that any member can get involved in

I think we should go with a lottery, each member that donates each month, to the lottery, gets put into a draw and a prize given to the winner.
set a certain lottery price, around £5-£10, and lets get the monthly lottery rollin.

prizes like hard drives or consoles,

beta testing first tho of course

I think the lottery is a good idea but the thing is people most likely wont pay for a competition especially if they don't donate and some may not even be able to pay/donate due to problems with PayPal in my case.

Its a good idea. You could do a free members lottery which there will be free prizes just do them less often. Prizes such as 48 hour trial to xbox live or 2 days free VIP access or something along those lines or even give them invites or download tokens.
