okay so i modded my coalesced for borderlands 2. upon loading the game i got a black screen. anyone have any solutions to this? file may need repacking? all i have done is edit the coalesced_int.bin then save.
The game has a hash check and won't work unless you remove it, which will only work on Jtags/RGH etc.
pretty much as kings has said sounds like its got a checksum in the default.xex its either gonna be a SHA-1 or MD5 (usually SHA) any edits on the original breaks the checksum so it needs calculating before editing then finding in the xex edit the coal file recalculate your new checksum in coal file replace new checksum with the old 1 will only work on jtags tho as kings has allready stated
okay guys thanks for your replies well first off i first posted this in the ps3 section, i have no idea why it was moved to the xbox section. anyways, would it work on a jailbroken ps3? second off, it seems dishonored has the hash aswell do you know of any games that you know for certain can have the coalesced_int.bin modded with no black screen? cheers
If it's jailbroken then you can edit the Eboot, post it here and i'll see what i can do. Lots of games but i can't remember any.
