I had done this last year or something like this so i thought why not do it again this year. We all know how long it is until Christmas because you all are spending allot of money on your kids and family members so im sorry for reminding you about Christmas Count down http://www.xmasclock.com/
Guess it's nice for the people that actually make work of it. We don't even buy gifts anymore, as it feels forced, we rather give something through out the year as a suprise. So no big spending here, just a big dinner with the family!
I'm buying my little sister concert tickets to her favorite band. I'm buying my dad a bunch of clothing he likes. I'm giving my mum money, because she hasn't hinted at anything she wanted. But I personally don't really like Christmas, seems like another time of the year to spend money.. Don't get me wrong, I know that you spend time with family and stuff. But every Christmas I volunteer at a church to serve Christmas dinner to those that are less fortunate, or people who don't have family in the area / province. I also donate money to a local charity, (Its a group that gives presents to less fortunate kids, and if I put a smile on a childs face, it puts one on mine! I'll probably donate $100-$200 This year!) ~illuminati
Yeah it is the time of year which you will spend a hand full of money but what you do donating money when its Christmas time to a local charity and putting smiles on kids faces who don't usually get presents is so nice and all it takes is too see you make a kid smile because this moment doesn't come around often as its a once in a year thing for everyone.
I know, I donate all year round. But my favorite part of Christmas is definitely: Volunteering every Christmas day/night, serving food to the less fortunate/People who don't have family in the area!
