Can you mod a PS Vita?

    I've been thinking about getting a PS Vita for some time now; with the Black Friday sales coming up soon ... I think now would be a good time.

    I've never owned a PS Vita before and have a few questions:

    (i) So obviously the most important one: Can it be modded? By modded I mean being able to play downloaded games (like we do on a jTag/RGH XBOX 360)?
    (ii) If yes, does it require soldering or something (like RGH) where I'll have to send it in to a modder --- or is it software based that can be done at home by myself?

    I would appreciate any guidance or help I can get in this matter; will help me decide whether or not to go for Vita.

    Nope, there's nothing yet. There was crappy PSP emulation mods but nothing PS Vita system wise.

    Really? Wow. I thought for sure I had waited long enough for something to be out.

    That seriously puts a kabash on my plans for now; I don't think I'll go with one just yet then.

    Unfortunately, I don't believe there's any good handhelds that allow mature games like FPS & RPGs.

    I know man it sucks, I've had 2 Vitas now in hope they would eventually get hacked.

    I would buy a vita if you are getting a ps4, other wise I wouldn't bother, kill zone is probably only really good game for it. Will be sweet with ps4 using remote play though
