There is an SP trainer for NBA 2K14. Just transfer the trainer into the same folder containing the default.xex and then launch the trainer and open MyPlayer and after you play the Rookie game go to the Attributes screen and hit Start+Back and then hit the button combination to put your SP into the 2 billion range which is more then enough to fully max out your character. If you wanna go another route there is a MyPlayer editor that will max out your attributes at all 99s.
You can also use this tool, which will just provide a lot of SP: http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/87447-nba-2k14-save-editor-xbox-360-mod-tool/ However, the tool probably will need to be updated for the latest patch before it will work again. I used the tool before the patch and it worked fine.
