If you play on the Xbox One and you’ve been craving to get your hands on the remastered version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare then you’re in luck. Publisher Activision and developer Raven Software have announced that the stand-alone version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be coming to the Xbox One on July 27th, 2017.

Just like the PlayStation 4 version, the Xbox One edition comes with the entire Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare campaign, fully remastered for modern (no pun intended) consoles. The game also includes remastered versions of the original sixteen multiplayer maps. The Variety Map Pack, which comes with the maps Killhouse, Broadcast, Creek, and Chinatown, is not included, and is available for $14.99.

Interestingly, as of the time of this writing, the PC version of the stand-alone edition doesn’t have a release date.

The game has been subject to criticism due to the requirement to pay for the Variety Map Pack, as well as the addition of microtransactions.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered was originally released as a part of the Digital Deluxe, Legacy, and Legacy Pro Editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, however a month ago, after several leaks, Activision officially announced that the game would be released on the PlayStation 4 as a stand-alone title on June 27th, 2017.
