I have been using the new Borderlands 2 Mod Tool for a little while now and learned how to use some of the basics i.e money, ammo, add items. There is something I would like to know/ get help with. Under the "Backpack" tab I understand the layout of the weapons but the one thing that I'm confused about is the "Game Stage" section. I have read that it relates to possibly where you "found" the item in game, but after setting it to every number between 0 to 127 I haven't seen any difference in the weapons. What I am ultimately trying to do is make a high damage weapon that doesn't require a certain level. Can someone help me with this. I've searched a lot online and haven't been able to get a clear answer.

That's not really possible. All weapons are made of parts that already exist in the game and the stats (damage, accuracy, etc.) are in relation to the level of the gun/item.

Can't be done at this time. Damage is dependent on weapon level.

Ok, then do you know what the Game Stage is used for?

Set both of the Game Stage and Manufacturer Level to your level, as long as it is under 128. They both are for the weapons level, but I don't understand why there is both.
Damn, I always post too slow, and I should read the whole topic sometimes also.
