According to a recent retail listing, Black Ops 2 has been revealed to be coming out a week later than the PC, Xbox, and PS3 versions of the game. Slated for release on November 20th, the game will come out not long after the Wii U has been on the market (two days after). While at the moment this is only a rumor based on one listing, if the rumor is true, we have learned a lot. First off, no one was even sure that Black Ops 2 was coming to the Wii U. Add to that the fact that early speculations had the game releasing on the Wii U’s launch day as a way to spike initial sales of the console, and the landscape for both the Wii U and Black Ops 2 has changed. It should be noted that Nintendo nor Activision has announced Black Ops 2 for the Wii U, but an announcement may be coming as soon as September 13th during a preview event in New York City for the Wii U.
