BioShock Infinite: Clash in the Clouds is the new wave-based challenge DLC from Irrational Games.

    It’s out today.

There’s also a two-part story campaign starting later this year set in Rapture.

In a press release sent to VG247, publisher 2K Games confirmed that the first part of BioShock Infinite’s two-part story DLC is called Burial at Sea and it will arrive later this year.

It takes Booker to Rapture and features a grown-up Elizabeth. Each campaign will cost you £9.99 / 1200 Microsoft Points and are included in the game’s season pass.

For now though, Clash in the Clouds is a challenge mode that pits you against waves of Columbia’s guard.

Each wave comes with Blue Ribbon Challenges’ that task players with defeating all foes within a set time limit and other objectives set across various arenas.

The Clash in the Clouds DLC is out today and will cost £3.69 / 400 Microsoft Points and is also included in the game’s season pass.

Creative director of Irrational Games Ken Levine said in a statement, “We are really excited to offer our fans the content that they have been asking for. With Clash in the Clouds, people get a pure action experience that takes BioShock Infinite combat to its highest challenge and intensity level.

With the Burial at Sea episodes, we are building a Rapture-based narrative experience that is almost entirely built from scratch.”

Our chums at Eurogamer have also posted a hands-on review.
