Battlefield: Hardline is currently suffering connectivity issues on Xbox One due to DDoS attacks. Battlefield: Hardline released yesterday across Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, and PC platforms, and the release went smoothly apart from the issues being experienced on Xbox One.
Visceral Games Tweeted that they had identified connectivity issues on the Xbox One as being related to DDoS attacks, and that they were working to fix the problem.
The problem was traced to distributed denial-of-service attacks which cripple servers by overloading them with massive amounts of traffic, over Twelve hours ago.
Visceral Games just Tweeted that they are restarting Xbox One and PS4 servers right now to address the problem:
If you are currently experiencing issues playing Battlefield: Hardline right now, the issues should be resolved shortly.
