Battlefield 4 developer DICE has updated fans regarding a game-crashing issue on PS4. It has detailed new patches for Sony’s console, as well as the PC and Xbox 360 builds.

It follows confirmation that Battlefield 4 PC was hit by DDoS attacks over the weekend.

Now, a post in the Battlelog forum has spooled off the following fixes due to drop soon:

This is the reason I'm holding back from buying a PS4 or Xbox One,

If I'm paying top dollar for a next gen console, I expect it to perform like a next gen console.

It's debatable regarding the coding of the game for the console etc, however these games along with the consoles should have gone through a lot of pre-testing before releasing something that seems only half complete.

I just find it disgusting that Sony or Microsoft can charge so much money for these consoles, without putting in enough work on them themselves.

I agree it's a new console and some of these things are to be expected, but Battlefield 4 crashing on the PS4 - Come on Sony!

If Battlefield 4 released on the Xbox 360 before the PS4 release, why didn't Sony do enough pre-testing before it's release to ensure it was stable and did not have these annoying crashes?

Hope I don't hear more bad news about next gen lol :)
