Battlefield 4’s open beta will launch on October 1 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC giving players the opportunity to try the new Battlefield experience. The open beta gives players the chance to play Conquest mode on the map Siege of Shanghai. EA noted that players will be able to â€learn maps, unlock items and build stats†for use in the official October 29th release of Battlefield 4 on current-gen consoles. Those who pre-ordered the Origin Digital Deluxe Edition of Battlefield 4, purchased Medal of Honor: Warfighter’s Limited Edition or own a Battlefield 3 Premium membership will be given access to the ’Exclusive Battlefield 4 Beta’ which runs independently to the open beta. EA has yet to give details on when access will be granted, but it should be sometime during October. Source: ea.com via VideoGamer
