any maximus lizard owners there

    can somebody PPLEEAASSEE HELP ME. i have a maximus lizard and xt3 to power up my drive. i just bought a ltu2pcb for my lite on dg16d5s drive. i cant get the ltu board to get into vendor mode. i select dg16d5s option on the lizard and it tells me enter mtk before i write. i cant get it in mtk mode. i also noticed that my xt3 wont give the drive power to even spin the 0800 disk. anyone can help me?

    well thats your proplem then It needs power to read the drive bro fix that or use your xbox for power and try it like that "Be shure if using xbox for power not to plug in upside down " you will fry your pcb if you do


    Hope that you havent already done that

    i wouldnt recommend using the 360 to power the dvd drive as you can damage the pcb and damage the 360 if you dont know what your doing

    Yes well not to be to picky but you probably shouldnt be flashing a drive, owning a lizard, or trying to install a pcb board if you cant plug one up to your 360 without damaging your drive

    By no means is it a great Idea but it works and if His power source "XT3" is dead its worth a go as long as he makes sure to not plug it in upside down

    I use the same xt3 to flash a dg16d4s all the time. I dont know whats going on

    I know i wired the wires correctly to the pcb. Its labeled r.g.y.b.w.... so each colored wire go to that pad

    you told me in PM the drive gets power when connected to a Phat 360 you have laying around, but not when connected to XT3. Till I have more information My only advise would be buy a ck3 pro or use your phat xbox for power till you can get your xt3 fixed.

    i said im flashing a dg16d5s drive. when i plug in the xt3 and lizard to the drive i get power cuz i can see the LIGHT on the other board with vendor mode button on. but the motor wont come on to move the lens. i use the same lizard and xt3 to flash dg16d4s drives fine. i did couple of kamikaze hacks fine. i know im wiring the wires correctly to it r.g.b.y.w colors are correctly soldered directly to the labeled pads on the ltu2

    Ahh ok the way you said it you made it sound like your xt3 is dead my bad mine died and I just swapped to my ck3 . Anyways have you tried jf ? I only use my lizard for 16d4s drives everything else I do with jf .and usb pro
