Aliens: Colonial Marines FPS ( first-person shooter ) puts you in the role of a United States Colonial Marine going by the name of Cpl. Christopher Winter. As Winter you will recognize many of the weapons you get during the game as iconic weapons from the movie such as the pulse rifle, shotguns , pistols, flamethrowers and not forgetting robotic sentry turrets. Aliens: Colonial Marines will feature a campaign with dynamic drop-in/drop-out co-op multiplayer allowing up to 4 players online or 2 players locally via split screen to battle against the xenomorphs. Gearbox has also confirmed that there is multiplayer modes. As well as Aliens vs Marines team deathmatch 6 v 6 gameplay, theres also a 4 v 4 objective mode called Escape, where the marines team must reach an evac point while the alien team must hunt and stop them. Gearbox has also stated that there will be more competitive modes, that have yet to be revealed. Multiplayer skins based on four colonial marine characters from the movie Aliens will be included in pre-order editions of the game according to Sega's official page. These include corporal Dwayne Hicks, smartgun specialist Mark Drake, sergeant Al Apone and private William Hudson. The primary enemies of the game are the xenomorphs from the first three films, which include the Facehugger, Chestburster, and "Drone" alien from Alien, the "Warrior" and the "Queen" aliens from Aliens, as well as the "Runner" alien from Alien 3. The game will also feature never before seen xenomorph types created by Gearbox Software. The specifics of these new alien types have been kept a secret, with the exception of the "Crusher" alien, which was revealed in the E3 2011 Walkthrough demo and the "Boiler" alien, a variant capable of self-exploding and covering its enemies with molecular acid that was revealed in the tactical multiplayer trailer. Marines... get ready to do battle against the face suckers......
I don't think much to the single player it made me think of Doom BFG straight away its more like a remade game in HD than a brand new release but its not terrible. However I do really like the Multiplayer I honestly do and anyone who's about to banish the game because of the SP give the MP a try its really really good fun and I'll be keeping it just for that and suprisingly loads of people online and no issues either playing I give the Singleplayer 4\10 The Multiplayer I'd give 7.5\10
really want to play this i have the iso but havent got a flashed i sold it .. stuck with a dammn 1175 slim ..
