Before GTA 5 starts, i get a black screen "alert you have not signed in. you cannot save progress. would you like to sign in" etc.... I am signed in. I have tried other usernames and this screen still pops up. Im already signed in, and its asking me to do it Suggestions please thanks
Hi mate, What console are you using? Make sure you don't have two controllers connected at the same time as each other.
I see. The account you are signed into is it a LIVE account? Has it been a registered online Xbox account before.
If you're running FSD can you apply the latest Title Update to the game. start the game without being signed in and then if it prompts you to sign in do this. If the error message still pops up see if you can exit from the screen and hopefully you can manually save.
i installed a mod menu that's built into TU24 which is the latest. If i remove the TU24, the game starts fine, but then on menu. Must be an error in the menu file
Okay try using TU16, with simple native trainer. cheats and mods included. So on FSD go to the games library and find GTA V and change the TU to TU16. Download the Simple Native Trainer. Google is your friend if you don't know how to get it. I hope this works for you. It works for me.
i used that one before. that's one of the few that actually works! this is a new one i came across. i am allowed to play and use the menu which works great btw. i can just press B and continue I never looked into manually saving....DOH..will try thanks for your help

Hey guys, found the way to sort this crappy problem out (I had it too. Was really pissed off 'coz I was about 75% through offline story mode. Xbox 360 slim, FSD - latest, RGH) Start up GTA V "Alert, you have not signed in........" pops up Press B to continue without saving It will load new story (where Mike, Trevor and Brad are robbing the bank) Pause "Hard restart" your console. Unplug main power cable at the back of your Xbox. Plug it back in. Load up GTA V from FSD again. Latest saved game loads up. Hope this help you all. I scoured the net for quite a while to find this fix that actually worked for me. The TU fix didn't work. The date fix didn't work either. :gamer4: :bye:
