Age of Empires 2 HD is making a long overdue return XPG. Microsoft has just announced that Age of Empires 2 HD Edition will be exclusively available through Steam starting next month. The revamped version of Age of Empires2 updates the original with 1080p visuals as the new title suggests. The whole game engine has been reworked that will give an overall more eye pleasing feel. In Age of Empires2: HD you will take on the role of various world civilizations and guide them to victory in 18 different campaigns. There is also an online competitive play. Age of empires 2 HD Steamworks features are set to feature achievements, leaderboards and cloud saves. Players can also create their own content and then share it through the Steam Workshop. This will allow users to rate other users' content. Age of Empires 2 HD Edition is set for release on Steam on April 9th, however if you Pre purchase the game you will be able to start playing on the 5th.
