A topic listing banned members and their offences.

    There should be one.

    A topic listing people who have been banned, why they have been banned and any other names they go by. It could save people from being ripped off on other sites.
    Also it would be good to know why people are banned. When someone has been banned, 99% of the time it's kept behind closed doors. People should know when and why others are banned. It would stop rumors and keep people safe by knowing the truth.


    The topic should be pinned and obviously locked. If new information is found(like a new alias), staff could be notified then the list could be updated.



    Could look something like this.
    1. Name of banned member
    2. Any other alias of the member
    3. Offense causing the ban

    I support this :) although, the only member I know personally, that was banned, was... I think id was C5L, or CDL or something like that, and he was banned for advertising his own site on here.

    This is pointless tbh as its at staffs descretion to ban users and users on the site don't need to know why other users have been banned ;)

    So someone being banned for scamming then going to another site and scamming people is ok with you...
    If people knew that the person has been banned from another site for scamming it may stop it happening again.

    Yeah but users out threads up saying they have been scammed and the user is banned.

    Anyway there is a name and shame thread on here anyway if memory serves me correct ;)

    I do know that if it is a serious enough offense such as Dack stated. That they will post a reason why. It just happened the other day.

    I think you misunderstood.
    It would be a locked topic where staff would list people that have been banned and why.
    Being able to see that someone was banned for scamming is a good thing and should be public knowledge.
    Keeping it quite cause harm and is aiding the person in continuing their scamming.

    I actually think its a good idea,as stated....being a newish member here it would be nice to know what others did wrong...so as not to do the same(i know we have the forum rules for that as well but)...and it would be interesting just to know as so often ive seen really helpful posts by members with lines thru there names...and always wonder "what the heck did they do to deserve that"lol....

    oh the irony...the second post in this thread is by someone now banned....
