It did give me maximum credits, but it also gave me a bucket-load of problems. The XP level went directly to 99,999 (A direct Gold wristband, but no achievement. It also meant that I didn't get any wristbands before gold). It messed up my handling. The car is always turning towards the right side, and every screen where I use the left stick also keeps going towards the right side (I select red color for the car, it goes towards orange, decal placing is also messed up). My entire HUD is gone, too.
