Bloober Team, the Polish studio behind Layers of Fear, has released its psychological cyberpunk horror Observer (AKA >observer_) this week, a game in which you play as Detective Dan Lazarski (Blade Runner star Rutger Hauer), an Observer with the authority to hack into the minds of suspects. Set in a dystopian futuristic world where slums are disguised by holograms, implants and upgrades are prevalent, and the line between man and machine have become increasingly blurred. In Observer's war-torn world in the year 2084, a single, all-powerful corporation rules over everything, and as Dt. Lazarski, you'll need to solve a series of murders as you strive to track down his missing son. This means hacking into the fears of some "unsavoury" suspects, some of whom might be innocent, to get to the bottom of what happened to Lazarski's son. You can find out more in the launch trailer below. Observer is out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, priced $29.99/£23.99. Source: Xbox Achievements
