I'd say it could be a variety of problems, such as: -Broken connections -Region lock (as suggested above) -Serverside issues (i.e. corrupted files) -Messed up Datafiles on the console -"broken" Xbox Harddrive Once I've had the very same problem, thus rendering some games useless (spacewaste/trash). All I did was to back up my HDD and reset my console to stock values. Had some problems with reactivating my Profile though, but a quick conversation and proof over at the Microsoft Support solved that for me. After that I transfered most working games back to the internal HDD and it worked again. In case of a broken HDD, the most obvious thing to do is to get a new one. Edit: I've never tried it, but if you would like to check the HDD for hardware errors, try using it as a PC HDD and use some tools to check it (stock: Checkdisk, Defrag 3rdP: Anti-Virus (Savegames or Mod Tools could infect your system)
I was wondering if you were to do the transfer, then to disconnect from xbl and play the game on the different profile?¿?
