Microsoft have officially banned their first Xbox One Console from Xbox Live. Target shipping company made a mistake and shipped out several Xbox One consoles to customers, one such lucky customer was Twitter user Moonlightswarmi aka Swarmi who released a steady stream of information about the next gen console over Twitter until he was prevented from tweeting anymore information by Twitter last night. Swarmi, real name Andre pre-ordered his Xbox One through Target and paid for express postage, little did he imagine he would be holding the Xbox One almost two weeks earlier than promised. Andre told Xpgamesaves that when he received his Xbox One yesterday he was " thrilled to be one of the earliest recipients" and wanted to share with the rest of the world so he immediately made an unboxing video which was removed shortly after uploading: Andre is an avid Youtuber and rather than risk his 31/2 year old account with 13,000 subscribers and over 1k of videos he turned to Twitter to share his excitement: Andre shared some interesting infomation, none of which put the Xbox One in a bad light in any way. If anything the infomation would do nothing other than help the reputation of the Xbox One. Here's what we know so far: The console takes 17 seconds to boot up. It takes 15-20 seconds to load an installed game. The day one update is mandatory and starts as soon as the consoles boots. The console runs smooth quite and cool. It took about 30 minutes to fully install Call of Duty: Ghosts, which is a 49 GB installation. Games are playable after they are past 50% installation. Game installation started automatically as soon as the disc was inserted. Kinect voice commands are very responsive There’s only Online and Offline status available, no busy or away. The start dashboard has three tabs: Pins, Home and Store. The update is 500mb. Here's a closer look at the Dashboard. A closer look at the apps and games page: It was a couple of hours after the Youtube video was taken down that Andre found his Xbox One had been live banned: We hope that this ban will be lifted on the launch date of the Xbox One and Andre can get the Youtube strike removed from his channel. Although this has impacted Andre financially, and also had his Xbox One banned, he has remained gracious throughout the whole ordeal and is still avidly promoting Xbox One in a positive manner. You can follow Andre on Twitter to keep up to date on the latest goings on. Update: It appears Major Nelson is getting involved now, so lets hope that Andre gets his console unbanned, and his Youtube reinstated.
WTF.... Lucky in one sense unlucky in another. M$ should unban him on release date surely, but then again it means more money in Big Bills pocket if he has to buy a new one for live.
I feel bad for the guy, I just wonder if he had not made the youtube video if he could have happily sat playing online till release day....and I wonder just how many people this will happen to if target made a larger mistake in shipping than they realize...

It was their mistake, so they shouldn't have the right to take live away forever (and making him buy a new console) If they don't give back live to him on release date, he should sue for taking away internet capabilities and making buy another.

I'm almost certain he will be ok on launch day
MS are just a little sensitive right now ...

How did other people get the console early and are playing already? And Bullet, how did you find out that other people are online and playing right now?
