One of the main reasons I brought an Xbox One was for a feature announced back in April last year called the Illumiroom. Incase you missed the presentation which you can view here the illumiroom was a projector that extended the gaming experience beyond the confines of the TV screen. The Illumiroom can distort or re-project the rooms textures that surround the TV which will distort or warp reality, even creating cartoon style effects giving the gamer a feeling of being immersed fully in the game. Using radiometric compensation the games surroundings could be mapped onto the walls giving a feeling of virtual reality, or certain elements of the game could be used such as explosions, or lighting, to really bring not only the game to life but the whole living area.It would of course mean more cost as you would need a widescreen projector which is used to project the illusions onto the wall surrounding the main focus which is the TV http://youtu.be/iHY1HK1R36A This feature was being developed before the launch of the Xbox One and was working well back then, so the question is will we see illumiroom at E3 this year, or is this dead in the water? If the illumiroom were announced at E3 this year, would you buy it? Source

I bought one for the 360 and never used it. I'm using my kinect on my xbox one daily with snap, xbox on xbox off and launching of items. When they release decent games to play with it i'll be sure to pick up a few. So honestly money well spent. Now for those of you who dont seem to want to spend 100 extra bucks on the console well i feel sorry for you. Its being put to good use. And if they release this eventually at a decent price heck yeah i'll pick it up but i have a feeling i'll need to downsize from my massive tv to get it to work. I'm running an 83'' thinking of picking up a 32'' or 42'' so it'll be a big adjustment but i'll only do that if they launch this.
