    Strange one this...

Unlocked slim drive, flashed slim drive, all went fine, relocked drive...

Eject tray > insert disc > shut tray > xgd3 game shows up > hit play game, game doesn't really spin up, ends with unsupported disc msg. (latest dash)

If I choose install game, it's fine, it will install an xgd3 game!!!

...It will also load and play old pre-xgd3 games.

Flashed drive to version LT2.0, works perfect, plays the exact same disc that LT3.0 won't play!

    Any ideas???

Could the .bin be 'slightly corrupt, or have others had the same problem?

I just installed this version on another slim that I got and I have had no reports of any issues yet (pcb board)
Have you checked the hashsum on the cfw.bin you are using??

Also you are using different discs with topology data injected into them with the LT3.0?

As the same discs that worked on 2.0 will not work with 3.0

Yes mate a few people here have been reporting problems when flashing LT+ 3.0 (Phat & Slim)
I myself had issues when flashing 3.0 with my own drives an friends.

Try flashing back to stock and then disconnect the ribbon cable, then flash LT+ 3.0 back
Pretty much everyone I know to have done this seems to have succeeded in fixing the problem.

    Thanks lads.

Disconnected the ribbon, flashed orig, then ltplus3.0, same symptoms.

...Did as mada suggested, tried the only true ltplus3.0 disc that I have ever made, and bam! it worked.

Flashed 0272 ver of ltplus3.0 to a slim the other day, that plays everything.

...So shows that 1071fw + the drive in question is more 'secure'/'picky' than the 0272 drive that I flashed, the 0272 quite happily played games not topology patched.

    We live and learn.
