hi, ok i have never played an rpg in my life, in terms of jrpgs with turn based combat. but i really want to get into it, however i dont want to jump straight into the deep end with an impossibly complex game such as Final fantasy. i was wondering if any1 knows of a good begginer rpg. which is easy to play but is still long and has a great story. i have found the following games: lost odyssey eternal sonata infinite undiscovery tales of vesperia plz give your opinon, on the perfect begginer rpg regards, dan
To be honest mate, if you want a simple RPG then play Blue Dragon Sacred 2 is excellent if you can see past the bugs. Infinite Undiscovery is very good too
lost Odyssey is good if you have a ps1 game playing psp then get the older Final Fantasy or even GRANDIA which is simple but yet has the most amazing storyline it was released in late 1990s on the ps1 and in 2005 was rated 75th most greatest game.
Mass Effect 1 Mass Effect 2 Fallout 3 All them 3 are amazing! there is at least 30hrs of gameplay in each title
thanks for the responses. i have ordered fallout 3 and eternal sonata. hopefully gonna look into GRANDIA. i also remembered about chrono trigger, which is awesome
Hey, Epoxy, if eternal sonata gets too hard for you i can mod your save, my characters all have millions of HP and all stats are pretty much maxed
Fable 2 was decent and fairly easy for anyone. Other than that I'd say Fallout 3 and Mass Effect 1/2 were my favorites.
