It seems as though an Alpha for TitanFall is not too far away. EA are inviting Xbox One owners to test TitanFall on Microsoft's Next-Gen console. There have been a few fake beta registration sites for Respawn's anticipated title so you may be doubting the legitimacy of the invite. This is what the email looks like: "Congratulations, you have been selected to take part in an exclusive trial for an upcoming EA title on Microsoft's Xbox One. If you are interested in participating, please click the Register button below and follow the required steps. REGISTER NOW as availability to this trial is extremely limited. Thank You." I decided to cautiously check it out and headed straight over to the Titanfall official Twitter where Respawn are saying that they have not announced any beta: However the link in the email does redirect you to the official TitanFall website which uses encrypted SSL connection, and the email was sent from @em.ea.com which appears to be the source of EA's promotional emails. If this is indeed legit it does raise the question of why there is an Alpha for TitanFall this close to March when the game is set to release on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows machines on March 11 in North America, March 13/14 in Europe. Be wary of any beta signups until they are officially confirmed by the game publishers... This post has been promoted to an article Beta registration here
