While Brink has generally received less than stellar reviews, this has not dampened developer Splash Damage’s resolve to support the game. The developers have released a patch for the game for all three platforms mere days after the game’s launch; and now they’ve taken to their official site to reveal that DLC is coming this June. The cost? Free! Is that good news or what? “We would like to thank you for supporting Brink and for your continued feedback. To show our appreciation for your support of Brink, we will be making the first DLC for Brink available for free when it is released. This DLC is planned for June and will offer additional maps and new content for players. We’ll continue to provide announcements about the next title update, as well as the first DLC release as that information becomes available.” While some pundits might claim that this is an obvious attempt by the developer to placate customer complaints regarding matchmaking issues, lag, texture problems and whatnot, this is still a nice gesture from Splash Damage. I love this game its just that people never gave it a chance i hope the dlc contains some really good new levels and challenges tho cuz i already beat them all on hard and 3 star xD
The first set of DLC for Brink is going to be free as announced by Splash Damage and Bethesda. The developer is looking to reward those that have “shown their support” for the title that has not been without its problems since launch.
