I need some help

    I have an Asus Notebook with Windows 7 on it. As of late, I have been having a lot of problems with internet explorer. It constantly freezes and lags whenever I open a new tab or window. Which is confusing because it never did this to me before. I am thinking that it maybe the laptop because when I use my desktop (which runs Vista) I have no problems with IE what so ever. Anyone have any clue as to why it's messing up?

    When did you notice the lag begin and what, if any, programs did you install just prior to the lag?

    You know I recently got this issue too but with firefox on my laptop with win xp pro. Maybe there's a new virus out there?

    No new programs really. Lag has been happening for a few weeks now. I did have to replace the battery, The previous one shut down my computer a few times, maybe that caused the problem?

    7 was built from the XP base. So if XP was the most attacked OS than 7 must be a close second.
