Avatar & Live Profile

    Okay so I've read on how to add avatar items to my RGH using the TUT here the only problem this is my first 360 and I've never been online with it. Therefore how do i make my account live?

    Is there anyway around this?

    Is it safe to go online with the RGH box, just to make live?

    If anyone could help i'd appreciate a hand

    You don't need to make or have a LIVE profile for avatar items just simply update the RGH with the "avatar/media" update MAKE SURE YOU USE THE SAME UPDATE VERSION AS YOUR CURRENT DASH!!

    I have a live profile i never use but you only have an RGH so im not sure how you would be able to recover it as you need a retail.to do soo.Then transfer it to a usb and plug into the RGH.

    It must be a live profile (Have at least connected to Xbox live once as a gold member)
    If your profile is not a live profile you can do 1 of 2 things

    1. Make a fresh profile on a retail/flashed console and get the live trial or use a 24 or 48 hour code to activate it as a live profile.

    2. put your jtag profile on your retail/flashed xbox and use a 24 or 48 hour code to activate it as a live profile.

    my RGH has the avatar update, do i not need to sign the avatar data with anything from my profile?

    As far as I know you shouldn't need a LIVE profile but if I'm wrong there is a program that will make your offline profile LIVE I'll try find it now for you...

    To get my avatar items to work I had to make a live profile on my retail using a 48hour code, then I had to transfer it over to USB>PC.

    Use either 360rev or a slimier program begins with H to extract the profile.

    Get the avatar items you want place them all into a signal folder use yaris swap to unlock the content.
