    Hello

I just have a quick question:

If i burn a game and then try to install it. and I get "cant read disc" errors... But I just play the game without installing it... does that mean the game will still play 100% fine? or possibly at some point while playing the game it could also give disc errors?

    Thank you

Some point the disc will stop playing, also it could mean the security on the disc itself doesn't check out.

Like Villan said. If it gives an error now, it may give one in the future.

Though, i'm guessing you aren't using an IHAS?

I burn all my games on iHas
It must just be a bad batch of DVDs?

If i burn a game and it wont work, il burn again and it might work. so il burn it again and it might not work lol

to get a game to install 100% I have to at least burn it twice

Thats your settings dude, make sure you clear OPC then power cycle the drive (turn your PC off wait about 5 mins then restart it)

that will clear all the configs about burning onto your discs (OPC saves the last 8 burns regardless of working or not) and create a fresh new slate to start burning from.

When you get to the write menu, in the bottom right hand corner there is a little cog, click on that and select Lite-On the choose clear OPC history from the dropdown menu and underneath there is a second dropdown menu with clear being the only option.

Select that then choose 'change' and power cycle your PC.

I've seen on a few site people have had a bad Batch of verbs but it can also be a bad drive.ive herd of people having drives that burn xgd2's fine all day long but when they switch to burn xgd3's they fail at an alarming rate.if they fail a lot try a new pack of discs if that don't make a dif new drive time.my ihas 124 was a dog prob 50% + fails put a 524 not one coaster after 10+ games.but I wouldn't play a game that don't install even the mighty c4eva him self said if u got a game like that chances are it might fail civ checks then ban time lol
