Does anyone know how many repeaters are on the circut board????????????????????????????????????? What about where I can buy 0603 SMD LEDs cheap???? Guysssssssssss I need help.
Calm down man. Shoulda came to me first anyways. Here's the seller i use for 0603 LEDs. He sells them for $1 for 5 pieces. Spend $5, and he'll send you 6 sets of 5. So, buy 5 sets, get a set free. http://www.ebay.com/...984.m1497.l2649 That's not a PIC chip. They won't disclose the type they use either. For competition reasons. We can't simply guess either as there are several types of chips that look like that. That's why they have the sticker over the info. When you peel that sticker off, it takes the print with it. xD Start with the basic 12F683 Pic chip. Create a simple, 3 mode hex first to get the feel of things. EDIT!!! Also, have you ever swapped LEDs before? They're a PITA! So, start on a scrap 360 controller or something you don't care about. Those things are a PAIN the first few times. Make sure you have a pencil tip iron too. Makes life easier.
This is were I get my LEDS from http://lighthouseleds.com/led-component-lighting/smd-leds-surface-mount-diodes/0603-smd-led.html Great price and all the ones I have installed are still working.
Yeah, 12F683 Pic chip is what I'm ordering! Thanks for the LED source too, man! I should start consulting you first!
