[Help] Retail Update

    I updated my retail via usb (dash 16197) but can no longer connect to xbox live with it.

    I have tried rebooting and wireless and wired connections. Still same problem.





    Have I done something wrong? Help ! :(

    Why did you update via USB if you wanted to go on live with it. You should of just connected to live and updated ;)

    You need to wait for M$ to enable live on this then you can connect.

    They said there deadline for all console updates are by this Friday,so it could be a week without Xbox live for u

    It wouldnt matter about the deadline for consoles though as he would still be able to connect to XBL.

    There must be something else wrong if it is not letting him connect ;)

    I wouldn't, if the update hasn't been pushed to his area yet, then he'll have no live ;)

    If anyone else gets this, your box has to be enabled for live. Every box should be ready on the 23rd of Oct (today)
