Hey there, I'm connecting the drive through the SATA controller, and the xbox is providing the energy, I'm not using the x360usb pro and I'm unable to locate any guide that explains how to do this procedure without the x360usb pro... any suggestion? Regards.
It mainly depends on what dvd drive model you have. And the current firmware on it. Some drives can be easily done with sata connection , others require hardware such as x360USB PRO or other tools. Post a lil more info and maybe we could help you. dvd drive model? Current fw version? Current dashboard kernel? What tools are you using?
Hi there, thank you very much for your response, I'm sorry for not giving much information, but certainly I have just a few: Its a BenQ drive, I believe it is using LT 2.0 as I can run several game backups, including GW3, etc. The Dashboard was just updated Yesterday, automatically by the PES 13 disk. I'm using JungleFlasher v0.1.92 Beta (304), my Operative System is Windows 7 64bit, and the xbox is powering the Drive. I'd like to corroborate this, but I don't know where, do you know where can I retrieve more accurate information? (in regards to the Drive Model and Firmware) Regards.
Check out Paddys tutorial. Just scroll down to the Benq section http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/42083-paddys-flashing-guide-noob-tut-for-lite-on-and-benqs/page__hl__%20benq%20%20flash%20%20tutorial#.UGd_FU1X3s4
Hi, I managed out to make it work, actually JF was not even loading portio64, but now it does, however I still get "no drive detected" :S but it is well connected, otherwise it wouldn't be recognized at startup when booting, any suggestions?
