Hi I'm here today to tell you how to FTP (File Transfer Protocol) your JTAG/RGH. Here is a Step-by-Step Guide on How to FTP, Things you need: Ethernet Cable Router (Obviously) JTAG/RGH (Obviously) Desktop/Laptop 1. Connect The Ethernet to your JTAG/RGH and Your Router, 2. Turn on your JTAG/RGH 3. When you are on the freestyle dash click down the Right Analog Stick on your Xbox 360 controller, 4. In the bottom left you will see IP: x.x.x.x (Your Internet Protocol Address) 5. Download any FTP program such as; FileZilla, CuteFTP, FlashFXP, 6. Open the FTP program and go to Site Manager, 7. Create a New Site, 8. In the Host Box type your IP address in thats on your JTAG/RGH, 9. Username: xbox Password: xbox Port 21 Also set the Protocol to: FTP and Encryption to: Use plain FTP if they are not letting you type anything in Username and Password, Change the Logon Type to Normal, 10. Then go to Transfer Settings and Make sure Active is ticked because it will be ticked on Default, 11. Then Click Connect, 12. Then your Done! P.S The reason you set your Transfer Settings to Active is because it will say Failed to retreive directory well thats what it kept saying for me till i ticked the Active box, Also make sure you have XeX Menu open on your JTAG/RGH else it wont allow you access to your files, but if you tried to connect without the XeX Menu open it dont matter, just open XeX Menu and try again , Btw if you cant find your IP address by Clicking down the Right Analog stick then just go to XeX menu and Press RB 2 Times and it should show at the bottom of the list your IP address Please Thank This Topic if it helped you out, Comment if this has helped you aswell , Cheers,

i know exactly wat u mean mate but unfortunatly we have alot of leechers on this site that dont +rep and thank after you've helped them out so getting +rep and thank is a slow process :why: . but eventually you'll get somewhere cause you have more knowledge than me on jtag/rgh and that is becoming quite common on this site hence you'll get +rep and thank from people that need help on jtag/rgh plus you've got very clear and simple tut's which will help out alot
just work hard,help out members where ya can and dont flame or break the rules and you will be fine nice tut BTW
Yeah man, i know Paddy. Not in real life though. :LOL: I'm in the States. Anyhow, as long as you write up some nice, clean and straight forward tutorials, you'll do just fine. There are LOADS of leeches though, so getting started is a pain. Just keep at it though. Know what my first post here was? A RGH 2.0 tutorial. :LOL: That's why i'm where i'm at now. That and i know people. xD Me and you can take the tutorial making to extreme if ya want. I need a good dedicated partner to write up tutorials for anything we can think of. :LOL:
