career time trial challenge right this is for fun and winner gets 1 month Vip for the site for a laff lets see if you can beat my career racers laptimes i will be using the racer "T.Stig" (and yes that is my career racers name hahaha) rules are simple .Use Any Car at your disposal .Use any set up you feel comfy with .maximum limit to aquire your laptime is 10 Laps .laps must be done on practice/qualifying on Career ONLY .all fastest laps Must be screenshotted and uploaded onto here .when uploading images use [ /spoiler] [ img] your image link here [ /img] [ /spoiler] without the spaces in .any 1 caught cheatin with tryin 2 photoshop/paint there screenshots gets disqualified from this .most of all remember this is for fun and to have a bit of healthy competition :bling: right thems is the rules so i`ll see you lot at the finish line :blink: so heres mine from track 1 Sakir this is more than a beatable time but its a starter for yas Spoiler :whistling: get ya racin gloves on and get sum laps done

outbrake them is the main key to gettin infront of em and stayin there and change your race strategy for pitstops too to change race strategy when in the pits on the race go to tyre selection and race strategy change it from the default 4 lap setting to maybe 7-9 laps depending on how many laps the actual race is also try tweaking the car set up that helps overall laptimes and performance
quick question - do you have tyre wear settings on or off? once that's cleared up, I'll put the gloves on and tear off a visor strip and get uploading!
i had tyre wear set Off for that if i remember right not really played it much lately but will look foreward to seein sum laptimes put on here from anybody and everybody

As I'm almost mid-way through 1st season in career mode (Force India @ Silverstone), I'll post times from the bottom half of the season 1st, then post times from the top half in year 2 - hopefully being signed by McLaren ok, restarted career on separate/on board hard drive - Here's Bahrain time from Practice 3 Spoiler Rd2 Australia Spoiler Rd3 Malaysia Spoiler EDIT - Just had a nightmare of a race in China - two 5 place drops for practice/quali crashes - lap time in race a second quicker than screen capped during practice (sorry its blurry), finished 1st with last lap overtake Spoiler off now to tackle Spain and Monaco {EDIT_ Spain - practice session Spoiler Managed a 1:19.968 in the race, but couldn't screen cap and drive! Leading AI pace on legend is only 2-3 secs slower than that Monaco Practice Spoiler will edit this if I can get a quicker lap in qualifying...AI leading Legend is less than 2 secs this time
at the end of the second season went too click on decline offer on the virgin racing team . and some how i clicked accept . so here my time in a virgin car at Catalunya and with autobrake on My link
heres one for Budapest thats gonna be hard to beat! and F1 aaron i got a 1:16 on monaco the other day but it was in a race so couldnt take a picture of it, but i took this one whilst going through the pit lane lol Then i beat that again with this bad boy!
I wonder if we will ever get to the 'real' F1 pace of Monaco, where Webber's quali lap was a 1:13.....? I'm liking the Budapest challenge....we'll see Not sure if the grip levels are better in Time Trial, but I had a go to see what's what Spoiler only 2 races away until Hungary in Career mode so you may still have upper hand, as I say, if grip levels are not what they are in Time Trial. What I will add is I was 2 tenths slower in first sector on following lap, but then 3 tenths faster through sector 2 before I ran wide in last but one corner and Invalidated the lap
im pretty sure they are! coz they have all the upgrades already applied. i went round that course will all downforce off and everything engine set to fast! and i just couldnt get any faster!
aaah of course, and it would explain the same time in Grand Prix mode in that case....challenge is still on then
might be worth changing the challenge to fastest time trial and just state what cars you use as i never thought about the upgrades when i started this thread originally so get ya time trial laps fired in using any car a want
