How much do Microsoft search for achievements in non-legit order?

Hey guys. I was wondering this because I recently used an Arkham City gamesave that unlocked a few out of order. For example it unlocked the gold campaign achievement before the bronze achievement. It also unlocked The Perfect Knight without unlocking the Riddler hostage achievements.

I did them all offline and I'm only sitting at about 660G for the game. Are Microsoft constantly looking for out-of-order achievements? When they do, do they just assume you cheated for them to be that way?

How likely is it that I'd get a gamerscore reset for a couple of out of order achievements?

Time stamps on them. (If unlocked online.) Some achievements must be unlocked before others and they see if they're out of order. They also look to see if a online only achievement was unlocked offline. Might be more ways but that's all I can think of.

But do they actively search peoples accounts for them? How likely is it that I'd get caught for a few out of order achievements?

That I don't know. I'm sure the system is probably automated to look for things and if it finds them to flag the account for MS review.

Yes the system is mostly automated and then if they see your using GS or unlocking achievements out of order you will probably get a GS reset eventually but you might not [IMG]

Just don't go mad on it and you should be ok [IMG]

Dont worry, I got a few cheevos out of order for years, They mostly look for if you played the game for the achievements. Also they only look for big games achievements like Gears or war and Halo. If you ever unlock an online achievements offline , dont go online delete profile and recover gamertag. I did that when i unlocked an online achievement for Dirt Showdown.

As some guys stated, it's an automated system, so it probably does check the billion accounts.
The system probably don't take too long to check the accounts for this.

I wouldn't risk it, why risk getting banned just because of some number (Gamerscore).

The main problem is little kids filing complaints on your tag for cheating.
I started doing it back only on people who go way over board lol

I had this happened before on a couple accounts of mine, and I now made a new account where I am very careful when I do gamesave, and only unlock one achievement at a time.

But, with my two accounts that I got wrong achievement order, they both still have the gamer score with them.

They have an automated system to determine if there are any significant growths in your gamerscore over time. It is like of like a stat-plot graph. They look at how much gamerscore you have achieved since your last sign in. Normally they dont do resets for small amounts, even what are called "mass reset waves" they barely look at you if you have modded a few thousand gamerscore.

In terms of actively looking for timestamps, no, they do not. They have a system that may do that, but it is only applied when your account is under investigation for a reset. I have had my gamerscore reset on multiple occasions, and even in their FAQ section, they state that unlocking achievements out of order is not an issue, because they understand there are glitches or bugs in the game. I looked this up when I unlocked the "unlock all powerups in darksiders 2" for the second achievement. It was done with a modded save, but one or two out of order achievements are no big deal.

My advice, which is what i always do.. add 2 or 3 games at a time, unlock one achievement online so it says "last played ________" then unlock 400-600 GS offline, omitting some achievements. earning 400 on one game, 600 on another, 750 on another, and so on looks legit... 1000 on every game doesnt look legit whether it is timestamped perfectly or not.
