[URGENT HELP NEEDED!] Important question!

    Okay so a lightning strike just hit and i was playing xbox and it flashed our power electrical poles and my xbox flashed RROD and so I turned it off and waited then turned it back on, and now my controllers will not connect to the xbox and I have tried to connect them with the button on the controller and the xbox, but nothing....please help.......+ Rep

    try holding the sync button on the controller and xbox for a few seconds more see if they sync if not if you have a plug and play cable attach that to the controller and plug it in it should then force the controller to sync to the xbox.

    try holding the sync button on the xbox while holding it,hold the sync button on the controller at the same time.Could be a sign of RROD but i could be wrong.

    Try using a alternative controller.
    Try holding the controller up to the sensor and holding sync on both the Xbox and controller for 10 seconds.

    Fixxed I had to unplug my xbox and wait a minuted then plug it back in...

    if you have a wire you can use that just plug it in and it should work atomaticly.☭

    Same thing here happened to me a few weeks back, had some lightning storms (Never seen it up close before) but anyway we had power cuts every 5 seconds, my PC was on at the time and it blew my power supply. I luckily could change it and fixed the PC but I'd probably say since it's a console it might be screwed. :(
