Power xbox when flashed?

    Hello, When Im going to be flashing my xbox i need the SATA Cable for my PC, then I have seen a few people use a molex to power there 360, Can i not just use the 360`s Power?

    Sorry if you dont understand my question

    People are saying it may you get banned? that a low possibility when still using the 360`s power?

    You never can be 100% when modding anything online but I had mine for a few years it never got ban just stop using it because of the updates yes some times when a new Xbox update come out you can get ban but that not the case all the time

    its a benq drive going off his other post you can use the power supply but it makes it harder and it makes you more of a risk of a ban as it tell ms you had your xbox turned on without the drive connected altho dont remember the last time someone got banned for this as it was that long ago

    Last bans were MW2 2 year ago, you can use you Xbox 360 to power a BenQ with no problems, I remember the open tray and power on off was a pain but that would be simple enough now.

    i have to disagree with u m8 as i flashed my current benq using my xbox to power my drive and that was at least 2 and a half years ago and i have not been banned ;)

    im just giving him all the facts so he knows the risks i put in my post it been forever since someone got banned and he gonna have to power cycle his drive which i heard is a pain in the bum with the xbox psu

    i wasnt pickin at ur post m8 lol and tbh is easy as m8 using the xbox to power cycle it just takes a little longer thats all ;)
