I have the latest update from 360Revolution (v2.61) with the Risen 2 save editor. I tried to load the save that is already on this site - http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/42212-risen-2-gold-starter-save/page__hl__risen__fromsearch__1. It loads fine, however, when I go amend anything on it and click save - it comes up with an error message each time (no matter what value I change). The error message is - Unhandled exception has occured in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. The specified cryptographic algorithim is not supported on this platform. Help?
this is a problem on your computer... the security algorithm used on the save file is kept in the system.security... run windows update and install EVERYTHING it lists
I hope it is OK to add to bobsandbag support thread, since we are having the same issue. When I click the save button a window open's up that says PackZip 0.1.1 and I see it working, but it gets to the part where you see all the little dots run accross the screen next to the word compression, and that's when the program error's out and the .NET framework error window pops up My .NET Framework is up to date and working. I have uninstalled all my installs and reinstalled them. I also used the dotnet verify program that are on the internet. I even tried to just open the save and then save it without any changes.
