Hi guys! OK Me and Syfrex have been working on a little project together I have the basic design drawn out and everything now. things like what we could add/change e.c.t Basically it is a tool that will contain all of mine and syfrex's save editors all in 1 place you will be able to click my tab and scroll through a list of my editors and visa versa with syfrex's tab each editor will also load directly from the tool. the tool will also contain sponsor links, XPG links and whatever else we can think of lol So yeah there it is we just wanted to hear what you guys think? We are doing this mainly for more experience with VB and to become better at what we do any feedback is appreciated.
Sounds good me personally will not use it, i save all the editors on my 2tbHDD Very handy tool for the newbies and all in one place!
No Fecal Leaking sherlock lol But as I said in my first post this is simply so that we can practice and become better at using VB purely because this is a bigger more complected project than just a save editor. Also our tools do not feature in 360 Rev. Thanks mate
looks good fellas,i have started learning VB since yesterday, still confusing me a lil but im off work next week so maybe one of ya can spoon feed me it
Anytime Hax In all honesty you probably know more than I do though,, I just mash buttons and slap the mouse around until it debugs properly lol
Lol yeah man I would be happy to help Bare in mind I only started learning about 1 week ago maybe just over myself lol I'm pretty pleased I have come this far in that time though.
Nice to see that you're interested in coding in VB, because it's also my favorite flavor. But be warned, programming can be more than just a hobby, it can also turn into an addiction LOL. And if you ever need help then I don't mind assisting where/when I can. Also here are a few of my favorite and most useful sites for coding/information if you haven't seen them: - CodeProject (lots of code languages, info, projects, etc.) - Microsoft MSDN (Microsoft's Developer Network) - Free60 (information about STFS, XDBF, etc.)
Thanks! Its already an addiction & Thanks a ton for the links, can't ever have enough reading material, I stay on MSDN, its a great site, Code project is a good one too,,, I'm going to have to check out free60 though I haven't heard of that one. I'm still new to the xbox scene but I'm a big computer geek, I enjoy editing more than playing games. lol But you couldn't point me in the right direction about where to start learning about checksums could you? =)
Thanks mate I have already added more to it I hope to get most of it finished tonight and start adding some other sexy stuff into it tomorrow Thanks man thats awesome we appeciate you offering to help Also yes you are right it has become very addictive and I have only been doing it a week or so lol I started with a simple S.E then I made my daughter a child friendly web browser next came some more S.E now this! I just cant help myself lol If I need a pointer I will be sure to contact you thank you in fact I have a question now so I will send you a PM if you wouldn't mind lol
